Introducing the remarkable Canadian Red Oak Verita Collection, a premium solid hardwood flooring line that celebrates nature’s truth through revolutionary finishing innovation. Crafted by Appalachian Flooring, this collection features an innovative flat finish that offers the lowest sheen possible for a prefinished floor. Appalachian Flooring allows the wood’s authentic character to shine without traditional yellowing effects.
Canadian red oak delivers the quintessential hardwood aesthetic found in turn-of-the-century homes. The heartwood displays prized golden and reddish tones, while the sapwood presents lighter hues that create natural colour variation. This beloved species showcases captivating grain patterns, including dramatic cathedral peaks and clean linear grain, made possible by the wood’s alternating open and closed graining structure. Its exceptional strength and timeless appeal ensure lasting durability for generations.
The Verita Collection’s Poesia finish is available in both Excel and Prestige grades to suit your design vision. The Excel grade embraces red oak’s organic personality with mixed sapwood and heartwood, unlimited mineral streaks, and authentic character marks that celebrate the wood’s natural story. The Prestige grade offers superior colour consistency with minimal character marks and small pin knots for refined elegance.
